ECS is here to provide emergency financial relief in the form of food vouchers, food hampers and if required emergency assistance with basic living needs such as clothing, bedding and basic household necessities to people in the Esperance and surrounding communities.
Local Community Service Providers can refer individuals – or application can be made by any person suffering hardship. To apply come in to ECS, please bring a current Centrelink Income Statement or proof of hardship. Evidence could include: outstanding utility bills, recent job loss. Phone us for more information if you are unsure if you qualify.
ECS operates a great quality 2nd hand clothing, furniture & household goods with the help of an army of dedicated volunteers. The ECS thrift shop is a great place to pick up good quality 2nd hand items at bargain prices – all the while knowing you are supporting the great work that ECS does in our community.
We have available:
- pre-loved designer label clothes,
- 2nd hand clothes suitable for work, and play,
- kids clothes,
- household items
- bedding linen
- electrical items (all tested and tagged)
